We are excited about our math series called enVisionMath. This math series uses more technology as each lesson is introduced with a visual concept that helps students access math skills and concepts by seeing ideas developed in visual displays. Your child should bring home a math sheets showing what he/she has done in math that day. This will keep you updated on what we are doing in class. If your child has not completed the sheet please help your child finish it and return the next day.
You will notice that the contents are called Topics not chapters. Please read the ways to help your child that will come home each month with the MATH minutes calendar. Each Friday your child will bring home the class newsletter. Attached to the newsletter will be homework for the week. Most of the time it is math and math games to be played at home. We have very little time for the games at home so please remember to play them to reinforce what we are learning in math class. Check out the favorite websites section.
